The stainless drip pan that comes with your Smokin Tex could have some very sharp edges. I got a nasty cut while cleaning the pan a few days ago.

I smoked a turkey for dinner last night and noticed my wife cleaning the pan in the sink this morning. I had no sooner said "becareful that thing can cut ya" and she screamed clutching her dripping blood finger.

I emediatly took it to the shop and filed down the sharp edges, Wife says I should fixed it before she got cut:mad::mad: Any way be careful and happy smokin Maybe QC had better do a little tighter inspections before shipping

Hey ALL,

I got a nice email from Janis@smokintex. An apoligy for the cut fingers and assurance that the problem with the sharp edges is being taken care of with the manufacturer and best of all a free T shirt. I still love my SMOKIN TEX:)
