Just tried Sandys Canadian Bacon. GREAT!! And easy, everyone loved it. Soaked in fridge for 5 days with cure, smoked with cherry for 6.5 hours until 155 deg. YUM.
Butts on sale for .99$, tried one with the rub in the book that came with the smoker. left on 4.5 hours with cherry then 3 hours in oven. I've never had pulled pork like that.
Some of my do-it-yourself friends are talking about making a smoker to avoid the cost. I keep telling them it's a waste of time. I don't think you could build one with the materials and quality of workmanship. This really is a great piece of equipment.
